Benjamin Bootleg
Benjamin is from Dorset where he plied his trade as a merchant and smuggler selling all manner of stolen and contraband goods. He was chased from town to town as the poreventative services tried to catch him but he just managed to stay one step ahead of them ntil he was forced to leave the county completely. He slowly worked his way along the coast until he reached Cornwall, meeting othe similar rogues and smugglers along the way. He eventually found himself in the Mermaid Inn where he met and joined the Pirates of St. Piran on their many adventures out at sea. He enjoyed capturing and robbing the rich merchant ships of gold and fancy goods he could sell. He found this more rewarding than smuggling and always came back to the Mermaid Inn for a boisterous time spending his ill gotten gains on wenches and grog. There he met the love of his life Lilly Lark who soon put a stop to his lecherous ways. Sadly now his wenching days are done but he hasn't given up the grog AAAARRRRR!
