We aim to provide you with whatever you need in the way of swashbuckling demonstrations and piratical performances.
We can provide a wide range of entertainments ranging from a couple of pirates standing around looking pretty for an hour, right up to a full day of dramatic presentations, shanty singing, Sword fighting demonstrations and story telling with a full crew of 20 plus pirates in full costume. We are also happy to undertake school and educational visits and answer any questions the children may have about pirates. We also have our own very loud cannon which is available for outdoor events.

What we charge does very much depend on the type of event and what each client wants from us. However the following are the guidelines we use.
Charity and fund raising events
We usually perform at charity events free of charge

School and educational visits
We are happy to visit schools and take part in educational events and do not charge for this service. We do appreciate that schools do not have huge budgets for this sort of thing, however a small contribution to help cover our travelling expenses is always very much appreciated. Particularly if the visit is outside the St. Austell area.
Private and corporate events
For private events and functions, the price depends on what your requirements are and how far we have to travel. If you give us full details of what you require and the event times, dates and locations, we will provide you with an all inclusive quote.
Conditions
There are one or two conditions which we must emphasise as they will limit what we may be able to offer for your event.
1. If you require us to do sword fighting, we require a minimum area of at least 30 foot by 30 foot. This area must be reasonably flat and free from trip hazards and obstacles such as trees and shrubs. This area must also be double roped to prevent access by the public. We can provide posts and ropes if required. These restrictions are essential to ensure that sword fighting takes place in a safe environment and that the public are not put at any risk. If such an area is not available we will not be able to perform any form of combat display as this will invalidate our public liability insurance.
2. We can perform either indoors or outdoors, however if it is raining at an outdoor event or it has been raining and the surface is slippery, we will not be able to provide any form of sword fighting. This is because we use real swords and fighting with this type of weapon is extremely dangerous in slippery conditions.
3. Also for outdoor events, we will not be able to do any shanty singing outdoors if it is raining. This is because we use some very expensive musical instruments, costumes and equipment which may be damaged by prolonged exposure to moisture. We are more than happy to perform in Marquees or under pagodas if these facilities can be made available.
4. We will at all times endeavour to perform to the
best of our abilities and do all we can to make your event a success, but we do reserve the right to refuse any requests that may endanger ourselves and or members of the public or may invalidate our personal or public liability insurances.
