Jewels Killigrew

Being a woman of noble birth , born in Falmouth to a wealthy family.
I had always been a rebel. At the tender age of 16 I heard fun was to be had singing, dancing and drinking with handsome pirates at The Mermaid Inn on the side of the harbour.
I bribed the stable boy to have my trusty horse 'Tinker' waiting for me in the woods and I would creep out after dark and ride to the Inn. My father discovered my night time trists and immediately arranged a marriage between me and a Lord who was an ugly, fat old sot. The wedding was to be in 6 weeks.
No time to lose, I sent a message to the Mermaid Inn. My pirate friends agreed to rescue me. I stitched pockets into my under drawers and petticoats. All I had to do now was wait.
Many guests arrived the day before the wedding as there was to be a prenuptial dinner in the evening. I excused myself before the second course pretending to have a headache caused 'by the excitement of my impending wedding day' I then went to the bedrooms of all the guests and family and stole every piece of jewellery and stuffed it into my
pre-sewn pockets. I escaped and ran to the woods where my pirate friends were waiting with horses. We road like the wind to catch the high tide and waiting ship. But we were being chased by guests led by my "intended". I took aim, fired my pistol and the fat sot slumped to the ground clutching his 'personal' jewels. The guests looked shocked & angry but we were now out of range of their pistol shots and sailing away.
