Juan Barbalarga
There is nothing known about Juan's past and there is no point asking him as his parrots will probably tell you more than he will. He just appeared in the crow's nest one morning with a hangover and a parrot on each shoulder and no recolection of how he had got there. This is particularly odd as the ship had been at sea for 3 weeks and had not even sighted land in that time. Some say the parrots rescued him from a ship wreck and carried him there, others say he was a gift from the Gods, an angel sent to watch over the crew....... But those who know him well know he is certainly no angel. However he has since proved to be a hard working, hard fighting and hard drinking member of the crew.
