Sly William Horde

William James Horde was born in Brighton and as a young lad, he made his name on the docks by making and fixing flintlock pistols and as he grew older, he travelled, working his way down the coast making money where he could by theft, murder or gambling.
After losing a game of dice one night in the Mermaid's Tail, a small tavern often frequented by pirates, he challenged three men to a fight. After running one through, he was knocked unconcious by a bottle over his head weilded by the barmaid Mad Mary Peg. When he regained conciousness he found himself onboard a ship and was told, He could either join the crew or swim back to land. Not being the strongest of swimmers, he made a wise choice and joined the crew. After 3 months at sea he made friends with the captain and was accepted as a member of the crew. After a few nights in port at Mevagissey, the Caqptain dissapeared. Some Say it had something to do with Sly William, but no one has yet found the Captain floating belly up in the harbour yet.
Sly William Horde has now worked his way through the scurvy crew to the position of quartermaster where he seems content to work alongside the rest of the pirates of St. Piran.
