Sophia Sogood
Raised by gypsies among the streets of Surrey, Sophia longed for riches so she could travel the world and see all its wonders. You could often find her selling her wares down the market streets but what you won't see is her hand gratefully wrapping her fingers around the money in your pocket. She often used her feminine charm to distract young sailors while she pocketed what fortunes they had, never once getting caught for her crimes. Though any riches that aided her travels excited her, nothing quite matched the thrill she would get from the mere glimpse of a sparkling green emerald. Unfortunately the sailors she would usually charm seldom had jewellery on them, leading her to consider other methods of persuasion. After meeting a young craftsman named Jack Russet she began to take an interest in weaponry and a special interest in Mr Russet. Upon hearing of his arrest while searching for him to make her a pistol, she decided to combine her charm and skill with a blade to free Jack from prison. Sophia and Jack then had no choice but to flee. They headed for the south coast where they came across a merchant ship that didn't ask too many questions and took them on as part of the crew. As if there luck wasn't bad enough the ship was boarded by pirates only days into their voyage but luckily for them, Jack managed to bargain with one of the pirates who seemed to have heard of him, and strike a deal. So with a twist of fate they are both now proudly part of the Pirates of St Piran crew, plundering and pillaging all the riches she could dream of, travelling the world like she'd always wanted.
